DMACC Baseball
2011 Fall League
General Purpose- The purpose of the league is to provide an opportunity to young players to help improve all aspects of their game in a competitive environment. It also provides exposure for the players to college level coaches. DMACC players and coaches will act as coaches, umpires and supervisors during league play.
Goal- The goal of this league is to allow the serious baseball player a chance to improve their skills in a game atmosphere.
Dates- September 11,18, 25 October 2, 9, 16
Grades- entering 9th through 12th
(8th graders with a high school coach's recommendation)
Where- DMACC Baseball Field Boone Campus
Cost- $90 per player - $65 for all other immediate family members (brothers).

Rain Dates will be attempted to be made up. If the last Sunday gets rained out, the league is over. There will be no refunds given due to rain.
Teams- Teams will be made up of 12-15 players.
Game Schedules- Game schedules and rosters will be posted on the DMACC Baseball website no later than August 30.
Game Length- All games will be 7 innings or 2 hours (which ever comes first).
Pitch Limits- Pitchers will be limited to 5 innings or 80 pitches. If limit is reached during and at bat, the pitcher will be able to finish off the hitter.
Coaches- A current DMACC player will act as head coach.
Stats- All stats will be updated weekly on the DMACC Baseball Website.
Weather- For information regarding inclement weather, please contact Dan Fitzgerald at 515-433-5048. A voice message will be updated for that Sunday's schedule.
Equipment- Each player will receive a game t-shirt, which will be used as their uniform each Sunday. Helmets will be provided. If player has his own, he can use that. Please bring your own bats and gloves.
Batting Cages- Cages will be available before and during games.
